Account & Login

How do I create an RT Hub account?

Go to https://rthub.app and tap Sign Up. You can register with an email address and password, or sign in with a supported social login provider (see below). Once registered, you can immediately access the free tier — no credit card required.


How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

If you signed up using a social login (Google, etc.), you don't have a separate RT Hub password — use that provider's login flow.


How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion in two ways:

  1. In-app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
  2. By email: Send a request to stefan@rycoai.com with the subject "Delete my account"

We will delete your account and associated personal data within 90 days of the request. Billing records are retained as required by law. Deleting your account does not automatically trigger a refund — see the Subscriptions section below for refund eligibility.


Can I use social login (e.g., Google)?

Yes. RT Hub supports social login via supported OAuth providers. When you log in with a provider, we receive only your email address and a provider-issued identifier. We never see your social login password.


Can I use the same account on multiple devices?

Yes. Log in with your credentials on any device — iOS, Android, or web — and your progress, history, and subscription status will sync automatically.

How do I start a free trial?

Free trials are available on the Pro Monthly ($9.99/month) and Pro Annual ($79/year) plans. To start a trial:

  1. Tap Upgrade to Pro from anywhere in the app or on https://rthub.app
  2. Select Pro Monthly or Pro Annual
  3. Follow the checkout flow — you will not be charged until the 3-day trial ends

Each account is eligible for one free trial, ever — across monthly and annual plans combined. If you have previously used a trial on either plan, you are not eligible for another.

Pro Weekly and Pro Lifetime do not include a free trial.


How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges but does not remove your access — you keep Pro features until the end of the current paid period.

We do not prorate refunds for unused time in a billing period.


Can I switch between Pro plans?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between Pro Monthly and Pro Annual at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing period (upgrades may take effect immediately with prorated credit, depending on your payment method).


What is the refund policy?


Tell me about the Lifetime "Founding Member" plan.

The Pro Lifetime "Founding Member" plan provides permanent Pro access for a one-time payment of $99 (regular price: $149). It is limited to the first 100 customers — once those slots are claimed, the plan will no longer be available.

Why is the price different in the iOS app versus the web?

When you subscribe through the iOS App Store, Apple charges an in-app purchase fee. Apple requires that in-app prices comply with their pricing tiers and does not allow us to charge a lower price inside the app than outside it. As a result, subscription prices within the iOS app reflect Apple's standard pricing tiers and may differ slightly from web prices due to currency conversion and tier rounding. Similarly, Google Play prices may differ slightly from web prices.

Clinical Tools

Are the clinical tools accurate?

We designed every clinical calculator, ABG interpreter, and reference card with care, referencing current respiratory therapy textbooks, AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines, and peer-reviewed literature. We review content regularly.

That said, RT Hub content is for educational reference only. We do not warrant the accuracy or clinical applicability of any output. Clinical guidelines evolve, and practice varies by institution, patient population, and jurisdiction. Always verify any value from RT Hub against authoritative, current clinical sources before acting on it.


Can I use RT Hub tools in actual clinical practice?

RT Hub is an educational reference tool, not a clinical decision support system. You may use it as a quick reference in your practice the same way you would use a pocket reference guide — but you are solely responsible for all clinical decisions you make. Never rely on RT Hub as the primary or sole basis for a decision affecting a patient.

RT Hub is not a medical device and is not FDA-cleared or FDA-approved for any clinical purpose.


Why is the ABG interpreter free but saved history is Pro?

The ABG interpreter — like all clinical tools — is fully available on the free tier with no daily limit. We believe quick clinical reference should be accessible to everyone.

Extended history (beyond a 7-day rolling window) is a Pro feature because it requires additional storage and backend resources. Pro subscribers get full question and case history with no time limit.


Do the calculators collect patient data?

No. Values you enter into calculators (weight, age band, FiO₂, ABG values, etc.) are treated as anonymous educational inputs. We do not store them in association with any patient identifier, and we never transmit them in a way that could identify a patient. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do not enter real patient names, dates of birth, or medical record numbers into any RT Hub field. RT Hub is not designed to handle protected health information (PHI).


Exam Prep

How many questions are in the question bank?

The question bank is actively growing. The current count is displayed on the RT Hub website and within the app. We add new questions regularly, prioritizing high-yield NBRC TMC content areas.


Are these official NBRC questions?

No. Every question in the RT Hub question bank is an original, authored item created by RYCO AI LLC. Our questions are aligned to the NBRC TMC content outline but are not sourced from, affiliated with, licensed from, or endorsed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or any commercial exam-preparation publisher.

Using RT Hub does not guarantee any particular exam outcome. NBRC examinations are independent assessments administered by the NBRC.


Do you cover the ACCS, NPS, or PFT specialty exams?

Specialty exam content (ACCS, NPS, PFT) is on our roadmap and coming soon. The current question bank focuses on the NBRC TMC (Therapist Multiple-Choice) examination. We will notify Pro subscribers when specialty exam content becomes available.


How is question difficulty determined?

Questions are tagged by content area and difficulty level (entry-level, advanced, high-acuity). As you answer questions, RT Hub tracks your performance by topic and difficulty so you can focus on weak areas. Full performance analytics and weak-area tracking are available on Pro.

Does RT Hub work offline?

The web version requires an internet connection. The iOS and Android apps support limited offline access to clinical reference cards and tools when a connection is unavailable. Question bank and syncing features require connectivity.


Does my data sync across devices?

Yes. Your question history, case progress, and subscription status sync automatically across all devices where you are logged in to your RT Hub account. Sync requires an active internet connection.
